【精麻の説明】
・精麻は古来より邪気を払うものとして『魔除け』や『神が宿る』植物と言われています。
その為神事や冠婚葬祭には欠かせない神聖な植物です。又、成長が早く大きく根を張ることから発展・商売繫盛・人々の成長などを意味し、古来から縁起の良いものとして私たちと深く繋がっています。
戦後までは生活の一部として欠かせないものであり、漁網や釣り糸、自家用の衣類や縄などにも使われてきました。神社のしめ縄や横綱のしめ縄など日本伝統や人生の大きな節目には精麻が使われています。

・藍染め精麻：約2mm
・桑の葉精麻、茜染め精麻：約1.5mm

■ 素材/製造国
・素材には精麻（せいま）、天然石を使用しており、精麻は栃木県にある400年以上続く麻農家の8代目が種から栽培し、湯掛け、麻引き、精麻干しまでほぼ手作業で一貫管理されている麻１００％のものを使用しています。こちらの精麻から紐を作りお作りしています。

■ お手入れ/取り扱い注意事項
・天然繊維ですので使い始めは固く感じるかもしれませんが、使うほど変化(馴染んで)いきます。表面の毛羽立ちが気になってきましたらハサミ等でカットして下さい。気にならなければそのままお使いください。
・色合いが変化しやすくなりますので水濡れを避けていただく事をお勧めします。又、調節部分が濡れると、精麻が乾くまで動かなくなりますのでご注意ください。

・ご注文を頂いてから１週間以内に発送します。発送が遅れる場合は別途ご連絡いたします。

【Mulberry‑Dyed Seima Cord】
These cords are made from Japan‑grown seima (purified hemp) dyed with mulberry leaves, indigo, or madder. Each cord is 100 cm and can be used with your own natural stones to create necklaces or bracelets. By using a simple adjustable knot, you can easily change the length. Each piece is handcrafted with care and intention, delivered in a hemp pouch for a limited time. Please enjoy the gentle, sacred energy of seima.

Seima (purified hemp) has long been considered a sacred material in Japan, used for protection and purification.

It is traditionally used in Shinto rituals, ceremonies, and sacred ropes.

Strong, luminous, and deeply connected to Japanese culture.

■ Materials / Origin
Made from 100% Japan‑grown seima and natural stone.

The hemp is cultivated and processed almost entirely by hand by an eighth‑generation hemp farmer in Tochigi, with over 400 years of history.

■ Care
As a natural fiber, seima may feel firm at first but softens with use.

If fibers rise on the surface, trim gently with scissors.

Avoid getting the cord wet, as color may change and the adjustable knot may temporarily tighten.
